Week 9

There's some very funny stuff on YouTube. Would I ever create my own video - NOOOOO!!! The podcasts can be ok - I just get that glazed over look after minute 1.5! I'm more of a hands on person that a sit back and listen type - who knew!

Week 8

Now I know where to post the pictures of our new and improved juvenile area when everything is complete!

Week 7

Hmm - lots of information, lots of comments. A bit much for me. I did like the library success page. Too wordy to see it as something I'd like to see us using.

Week 6

So I can see some advantages of Del.icio.us. It is very overwhelming at a glance. The 13 tips should be very useful.

Week 5

I am rolling right along! For week 5, I played with Novelist. I'm familiar with the site and find it very useful. Audiobooks was very informative. When I get an MP3 player, I will definitely utilize this wonderful addition to our system. And then there's the DPL catalog. It really is user friendly especially when you compare it to our old catalogs. I do enjoy preferred searches and the ratings option is a nice feature.

Sisters

What a crafty and creative bunch! I love the photos of the kids quilts.

Let's update

Ok, so what if I'm just now working on week 3! I think my head's ready to explode. Is it bbbllllogging or perhaps the fact that Christmas is only 3 weeks away. I'm not sure about this blogging thing. No, I'm not too old!! I'm just not sure spending this much time on the computer is what I want to do. It is a great information tool. There's lots of stuff out there to learn.

Well, off to week 4. Let's see if I can finish it before I leave tonight.

October 11, 2007 a new day

I love technology. Ok, maybe I like it just a little. If only I could burn calories while blogging! Wouldn't life be just swell! So, I guess I'll stick to the treadmill for now. My brain needs something new to keep it occupied and entertained. So I'll give it a shot.
